  2. EDDA Somatology Laboratory - Journey of Expedition There are 2 modes, exploration mode and battle mode. Both modes requires level 170 to access instance cooldown : 1 day. You can enter 1 mode daily, either exploration mode or battle mode. 1. Exploration mode is interpreted based on the lore, has a lot of dialogue and will take the long time. combat is quite easy and few mobs appear. reward is lower than battle mode and has no bonus reward like battle mode. 2. Battle mode focuses on battle, most of story is omitted and summarized. There is a lot of enemies and map gimmicks. Battle mode yield more reward than exploration mode. There are 2 materials required for enchantment. Somatology Experimental Fragment Somatology Research Document Both materials can be obtained from several ways. 1. Reward from EDDA Biolab instance (2x Fragments from exploration mode, 5x Fragments and 3x Documents from battle mode) 2. Has a chance to obtained from "??? box" (The box has a chance to appears after instance boss "Unknown Swordsman" (Ygnigem girl with fiery eyes ) is killed. And appear in Battle mode only). 3. Has a chance to obtained from opening "Somatology Laboratory Material Box" (drops from Unknown Swordsman). 4. Drops from Unknown Swordsman. 5. Drops from mobs in the instance with a low chance. Enchantable Weapons. The weapons can be obtained from 2 ways. 1. Has a chance to obtained from "??? box". 2. Obtained from opening "Specimen Weapon Box" (drops from Unknown Swordsman). Both ways will give the player one weapon randomly. List of Weapons Enchant Details NPC will give the player 3 choices of enchantment. 1. General enchant : requires low amount of materials but has a chance to destroy weapon on failure. 2. Advanced enchant : requires moderate amount of materials but has higher chance of success and weapon won't be destroyed on failure. 3. Determined enchant : requires very large amount material but no chance of failure and the player can choose the desired enchant. List of new enchants Note : Enchant can't be reset. New equipment.
