Shield Spell - Level-specific effect will be unified into only 1 effect, changes the skill effect as below. Level 1 : Recovers 5% of user's MaxHP every 3 seconds for 90 seconds. Level 2 : Recovers 3% of user's MaxSP every 5 seconds for 90 seconds. Level 3 : Atk + 150 and Matk + 150 for 90 seconds. 2.3. Banding - Changes the skill effect. - Can only be used when in party, increases user's Def depend on number of party member within user's range, counts the user too. (Max Def + 360). 2.4. Hesperus Lit - Removes cast condition, deals more damage when use under Inspiration state. 2.5. Earth Drive - Removes target's defense and attack speed reduction inflicting effect, removes shield destruction chance. - Improves damage formula, replaces shield weight and shield refine rate factors with skill level and user's Str and Vit factors. - Changes skill element from forced earth property to depend on weapon element instead. 2.6. Vanishing Point - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 500% to 800% based on level 10. 2.7. Cannon Spear - Changes from dealing damage to all enemies in straight line to dealing damage to nearby enemies around the target (5x5 cells based on level 5). - Increases SP consumption to 50 based on level 5, reduces cast range from 9 to 7 cells. - Has a chance to trigger critical. Critical chance is the half of user's Cri. 2.8. Moon Slasher Removes immobilize / sit inflicting effect, instead user will gain "Overbrand Ready" effect for the certain duration. 2.9. Overbrand - Changes the skill logic. The skill will be cast immediately, no longer require to cast on ground, removes knock-back inflicting effect. - Deals more damage if using while Overbrand Ready effect is active. 2.10. Genesis Ray - Removes HP consumption, increases SP consumption from 90 to 120 based based on level 10. - Changes skill logic, the skill will be cast immediately, no longer require to cast on ground, improves damage formula, damage is increased from 2000% to 2300% based based on level 10, damage is increased depend on user's Int. - When using under Inspiration state, increases damage to 3500% based on level 10 and change the skill element to neutral property. 2.11. Inspiration - Increases duration from 90 seconds to 180 seconds based on level 5. - Removes EXP cost and buff dispelling on casting. - Removes self damage on each attack, changes to can be used with Banding and Prestige. - Removes job level factor in the skill formula and changes the skill formula. (Base level 200 and skill level 5 will gain Hit + 60, All Status + 30, Atk + 200, Matk + 200, MaxHP + 20%). 3. Mechanic 3.1. Arm Cannon - Reduces fixed casting time from 0.2 seconds to 0.1 seconds based on level 5. - Reduces variable casting time from 2.2 seconds to 2 seconds based on level 5. - Reduces cooldown from 0.65 seconds to 0.3 seconds based on level 5. - Improves damage formula, damage is changed from 2300%/2050%/1800% (small/medium/large) to 1900% regardless target size based on level 5, improves base level modifier from (base level/120) to (base level/100). - Cast range is 9 cells regardless skill level and area of effect is 5x5 cells on level 5. 3.2. Knuckle Boost - Reduces variable casting time from 1 second to 0.5 seconds based on level 5. - Increases SP consumption from 15 to 25 based on level 5. - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 700% to 1100% based on level 5. - Improves base level modifier from (base level/120) to (base level/100). 3.3. Axe Tornado - Removes bonus damage when equipping wind property weapon, removes damage penalty on outer area of effect. - Removes HP consumption, increases SP consumption from 26 to 45 based based on level 5. - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 700% to 1100% based on level 5. 3.4. Power Swing - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 1300% to 1800% based on level 10, improves base level modifier from (base level/120) to (base level/100), corrects the base level modifier to affects the entire skill damage, reduces the influence of user's Str and Dex factors in the skill formula by half. 3.5. Vulcan Arm - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 210% to 420% based on level 3, improves base level modifier from (base level/120) to (base level/100). - Unifies cooldown to 0.1 seconds regardless skill level, adds variable casting time by 0.2 seconds. - Increases SP consumption from 6 to 15 based on level 3, increases area of effect from 3x3 cells to 5x5 cells. 4. Genetic 4.1. Prepare Potion - "Homunculus Supplement" can be crafted with this skill, using Homunculus Supplement will increase intimacy of Homunculus. 4.2. Aid Potion - Increases effectiveness when using on Homunculus by 3 times. 4.3. Cart Tornado - Improves damage formula, damage is increased from 1000% to 2000% based on level 10. 4.4. Cart Cannon - Improves damage formula, doubles the influence of user's Int factor. 4.5. Blood Sucker - Reworks skill, consumes 5 ea of Blood Sucker Plant Seed to give a buff to 1 party member, target gains up to 9% chance to restore 5% of damage as HP when dealing physical damage. 4.6. Spore Explosion - Removes primary damage (Main single target damage). Secondary damage (Splash damage) remains. - Adds the debuff that affected target will take more damage from long ranged physical damage by 10% (reduces to 5% on boss monsters) for 5 seconds. 4.7. The skill will deal damage to the surrounding enemies. - Weapon property will apply to every damage that hit the enemies (Currently the skill deal weapon property damage to main target then deal neutral property damage that has the same value as main damage to surrounding enemies). - Area of effect is changed from up to 5x5 cells around the target to 7x7 cells around the user. - Reduces cooldown from 5 seconds to 3 seconds. 10.6. Flash Combo - Removes Sky Blow from the skills chain and reduces chain time according to this change. - Reduces cooldown from 5 seconds to 3 seconds based on level 5. 10.7. Rampage Blast - Reduces sphere consumption from 5 to 3. 10.8. Lightning Ride - Reduces sphere consumption from (skill level) to 2 (The number of hit still be the same as skill level). - Reduces variable casting time to 1 second, reduces cooldown to 0.5 seconds. 10.9.     As i said, for the amount of defensive and utility they have, if their damage was on par with GX per say, it would be very broken, to not to say make everyone play the class. The "right investment" would be something like sufficient aftercast delay, ASPD and INT/DEX to instacast his skills, and the maximum damage gear in the rest of the equipment. GX have to do high damage, they are not meant to be wearing shields, so they have to kill fast or die trying (Again, they overdid way too much in that rework, so that's expected the nerf in skills that can crit). If you go in Youtube and search "Mechanic kRO", you can see plenty of videos like this one: Sure to kRO standards, this is not astonishing, but remember, Arms Cannon doesn't miss, is very spammable, ignore def, can have ghost/holy endow easy and is ranged, so a lot of great aspects to a damage skill, adding to the forementioned utility skills and the fact that he can and will be using a shield, without giving any damage away to do it. I really think Mechanic (all of his builds) in kRO are in a great spot. The problem is now that GX/RK are way too overtuned, everything else seems lacking power.

    Just to organize everything, I made a table resuming all the information I got from different (bRO’s) databases for the monsters that could be demon for at least one form. Now it is only missing to me to measure B_SEYREN and B_EREMES, but I strongly believe that they are Human, in e with the data in the table. In resume: In Divine Pride this 5 monsters were listed as Demons, but are human in all other bRO’s databases: - B_EREMES, G_EREMES; - B_SEYREN; G_SEYREN (already changed in Divine Pride) - G_GERTIE;

    Yes. Skill level of Striking directly affects Varetyr Spear damage because skill level of Striking is one of factor in Varetyr Spear damage formula. But using Striking on yourself will give you Atk. And Atk doesn't relate to Varetyr Spear damage anymore. So Striking buff no longer increases Varetyr Spear damage.

    striking only affected the physical portion of vs to my knowledge. Its pure magic now so striking won't do anything to it.

Elemental Spirits Some passive skills will be applied regardless skill level of spirits. We will change the effect of the skills on defensive and offensive mode. In addition.     Cooking system has been improved on May 2019 to improve the convenience on cooking. 1. Reduces the weight of all foods to 5. 2. Reduces the amount of all required ingredients to 1. make the cooking be more easier. 3. Improves the recipes of level 1 foods to be easier to cooking. EX : Removes Honey from Honey Grape Juice recipe. 4. Foods recovers small amount of HP upon using. 5. 6 types of each stat foods (from level 5) can be combined into 1 food that increases all stat.     Dev team will show you the developing contents of critical-able skills adjustment, Royal Guard, Sura, Mechanic and Genetic adjustment, and new updates that will be updated in the future. 1. Critical-able skills adjustment. For obvious reason. The critical-able skills become more popular. As critical also apply 140% of max damage and ignore Hit/Flee calculation to the skills too. In addition, %critical damage modifier is applied on final damage after %race/size/property modifier applied. The non-critical-able skills only rely on the same modifier such as %long ranged modifier and %melee modifier. Such non-critical-able skills must require around 3 times of attack power to reach the same damage as critical-able skills. So. Instead of removing %critical damage modifier from affecting critical-able skills. We'll adjust the influence of %critical damage modifier on critical-able skills. As the gear that have %critical damage modifier make the diversity of playing. We'll not remove %critical damage modifier from affecting critical-able skills. By the way. we'll lower the influence of %critical damage modifier on critical-able skills. The purpose of this changes is to reduce the gap between critical-able skills and non-critical-able skills. 2. Job improvement : Royal Guard, Sura, Mechanic and Genetic Jobs improvement of those 4 jobs are posted in Jobs improvement project thread. 3. Greed skill adjustment An issues about the abusing of Greed skill has been announced since December 2019. We decide to adjust the skill as below : - Adds cooldown by 30 seconds (also apply on items that enables to use this skill as well) *after negative feedback from players since releasing this dev note. We decide to reconsider about this again. Greed skill is provided by many items and enchants, very helpful for players. By the way there is a lot of issue between abusers, who used this skill improperly, and players who received an inconvenience from abusers. We reviewed this issues and decided to change as we mentioned above. But this change bring an inconvenience to some players as well. From players feedback. We reconsider to reduces the added cooldown of the skill. We think this way can resolve the issue between abuser and players without making an inconvenience, much. So we decide to reduces the added cooldown from 30 seconds to 5 seconds. We still keep an eye on abuser who use this skill improperly against players. The purpose of this change is to improve the comfortable environment of the game. The items with auto-casting Greed effect will be changed to "Enables to to Greed level 1". 4. Removing equal distribution of experience gained from family party. Equal distribution of experience is one the function in family system. The purpose of this system is to increase the efficiency of family party leveling as this system benefits adopted child a lot. By the way. When we updated independence system to support adopted children, who would be in child form forever when their parents don't play the game anymore, to return to adult form again. Many players exploited equal distribution of experience system by leveling up many character in shortcut way (high level parents adopted child then went to high-end dungeons to gain skyrocket experience.     - Warlock - Many skills except Tetra Vortex will be improved to have more efficiency and improved the convenience on using Reading Spellbook. The contents of improvement as below : 1. Reading Spellbook - Becomes passive skill. Enables player to use new type of spellbooks. The player can click on spellbooks to memorize skill directly. - Old type of spellbooks can't be used anymore. New type of spellbooks which are consumable type item are provided. - There are 10 spells available. Lord of Vermilion, Meteor Storm, Storm Gust, Drain Life, Jack Frost, Earth Strain, Crimson Rock, Chain Lightning, Comet, Tetra Vortex. 2. Release - Removes the effect on level 1 (release 1 elemental ball on target). Level 1 will release the memorized skill only. 3. Summon Fire Ball / Summon Water Ball / Summon Ball Lightning / Summon Stone - Reduces max level from 5 to 2. Level 2 will summon 5 balls instantly. (If you have 2 active Water Balls and then cast level 2 Summon Fire Ball. 2 Water Balls will be replaced with 5 Fire Balls) - Changes skill damage formula. 4. Soul Expansion - Improves skill damage formula. (750+(skill level x 150))%Matk) 5. Earth Strain - Improves skill damage formula. (1000+(skill level x 600))%Matk) - Reduces cooldown from 10 seconds to 7 seconds. Reduces delay after skill from 1 second to 0.5 seconds. - Removes equipment divesting effect. 6. Frost Misty - Becomes target skill. Deals damage on target enemy and nearby enemies. Can be cast on ground. - Inflicts new status effect "Frost" on target. Target under Frost effect will take more damage from Jack Frost for 10 seconds. (Frost will apply to all type of target, include players) - Changes damage from 7 split hits to (skill level) cumulative hits. (damage per hit : (200+(skill level x 100))%Matk) 7. Jack Frost - Becomes target skill. Deals damage on target enemy and nearby enemies. Requires target to cast. Area of effect : 7x7 (level 1~2) / 9x9 (level 3~4) / 11x11 (level 5) - No longer deal more damage on target under Freezing status. - The skill will deal more damage on target under Frost status instead. - Improves skill damage formula. (1000+(skill level x 300))%Matk) / damage on Frost target : (1200+(skill level x 600))%Matk) - Removes Frozen inflicting effect. - Adds 4 seconds cooldown. 8. Crimson Rock - Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds. - Improves skill damage formula. (700+(skill level x 600))%Matk) - Improves damage scales on base level. - Removes Stun inflicting effect. 9. Hell Inferno - Becomes multi-target skill. Deals damage on target enemy and nearby enemies. Changes damage display to 3 split hits. - Removes Burning inflicting effect. - Adds 3 seconds cooldown. Removes Red Gemstone consumption. - Reduces SP consumption. 400+(80 x skill level) are reduced to 50+(20 x skill level) - Fixed casting time is 2 seconds regardless skill level. (changed from 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds (level 1~5)) - Reduces variable casting time. 10/11/12/13/14 seconds (level 1~5) are reduced to 6/7/8/9/10 seconds (level 1~5) - Reduces cooldown from 60 seconds to 20 seconds. - Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds. - Removes Burning inflicting effect. - Inflicts new status effect "Magical Intoxication" on target for 20 seconds. Target under this effect will take more damage from all property by 50%. - Reduces number of hit from 20 hits to 10 hits. - Reduces area of effect from 19x19 cells to 13x13 cells. - Removes damage variation depends on distance from the center. The skill will deal the same damage to all over the area. - Improves damage scales on base level. 11. Mystical Amplification - Increases Damage amplification.
