Skills balance contents


1st classes


1. Swordsman
1.1 Magnum Break
- Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 0.5 second.
- Adds 2 seconds cooldown.
 

2. Merchant
2.1 Crazy Uproar
- Adds 0.5 second fixed casting time.
- Adds 1 second variable casting time.
- Changes skill mechanism, grants Str + 4 and Atk + 30 to the user and nearby party members.
- Adds 30 seconds cooldown.


3. Mage
3.1 Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt

- Increases fixed casting time from 0.88 second to 1.2 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 3.52 second to 3.2 second (on level 10).
- Greatly reduces delay after skill.

3.2 Thunderstorm
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1.6 second to 1.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 6.4 second to 4.5 second (on level 10).

3.3 Fire Ball
- Fixed casting time and variable casting time of level 1-5 is changed to be the same as level 6-10 (0.2/0.8 second respectively)
- Reduces delay after skill to 0.7 second on all skill level.

3.4 Soul Strike
- Delay after skil is 1.4 second on all skill level (reduces from 2.5 seconds to 1.4 second on level 10).

3.5 Frost Diver
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 second to 0.5 second.


4. Acolyte
4.1 Blessing
- Also increases Hit per skill level (Also applies on Archbishop's Clementia too)

4.2 Increases Agility
- Also increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack) per skill level.

4.3 Angelus
- Also increases MaxHP per skill level.

4.4 Holy Light
- Reduces fixed casting time and variable casting time by 50%.


2nd classes


1. Knight
1.1 Bowling Bash

- Changes skill mechanism. Skill deal 2 hit damage to enemy in 5x5 cells and knock them back.
- If user equips two-handed sword, skill hit is increased up to 4 hit depends on number of target.
- Reduces delay after skill.
- Adds 1 second cooldown.

1.2 Brandish Spear
- Changes damage type to become long ranged physical damage.
- Changes damage formula, damage is increased depends on user's Str.
- Reduces casting delay.
- Adds 0.5 second delay after skill.
- Adds 1 second cooldown.
- Increases SP consumption to 24.

1.3 Two-handed Quicken
- Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by 10%).
- Also increases Cri and Hit per skill level, Cri + 12 and Hit + 20 on level 10.

1.4 Charge Attack
- Removes fixed casting time and variable casting time.
- Adds 0.5 second cooldown.

2. Blacksmith
2.1 Adrenaline Rush
- Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by 10%).
- Also increases Hit per skill level, Hit + 20 on level 5.

2.2 Power Thrust
- Weapon destruction chance is removed.
- Increases bonus damage on party members.


3. Assassin
3.1 Sonic Blow

- Removes attack motion.
- Increases damage against target who has HP lower than 50% by 50%.
- Adds 1 second cooldown.

3.2 Venom Splasher
- Reduces cooldown from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Removes red gemstone consumption.
- Greatly increases damage.

4. Wizard
4.1 Lord of Vermilion
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1.68 second to 1.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 6.72 seconds to 4.5 seconds (on level 10).
- Reduces delay after skill from 5 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 5 seconds cooldown.
- Changes skill mechanism, damage display is changed from 10 hit attack for 4 times to 20 hit attack for 1 time.
- Slightly increases damage.

4.2 Meteor Storm
- Reduces fixed casting time from 2.4 seconds to 1.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 9.6 seconds to 6.3 seconds (on level 10).
- Reduces delay after skill from 7 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 7 seconds cooldown.

4.3 Storm Gust
- Reduces fixed casting time from 2.4 seconds to 1.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 9.6 seconds to 6.3 seconds (on level 10).
- Reduces delay after skill from 5 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 6 seconds cooldown.

4.4 Jupitel Thunder
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1.12 seconds to 0.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 4.48 seconds to 3.8 seconds (on level 10).

4.5 Earth Spike
- Increases fixed casting time from 0.56 second to 1.2 second (on level 5).
- Increases variable casting time from 2.24 seconds to 3.2 seconds (on level 5).
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.8 second to 1.4 second.
- Increases damage from 100% to 200% per hit.

4.6 Heaven's Drive
- Increases fixed casting time from 0.64 second to 0.8 second (on level 5).
- Reduces variable casting time from 3.2 seconds to 1.9 seconds (on level 5).
- Reduces delay after skill from 1 second to 0.5 second.

5. Priest
5.1 Magnus Exorcismus
- Reduces fixed casting time from 3 seconds to 1 second.
- Reduces variable casting time from 12 seconds to 4 seconds.
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 6 seconds cooldown.
- Changes to deal damage to all race enemies.
- Demon race / undead race / shadow element / undead element take additional damage.

5.2 Mace Mastery
- Increases Cri per skill level, Cri + 20 on level 10.

5.3 Suffragium
- Changes skill mechanism, reduces variable casting time, without limit count, of the user and nearby party members for the duration.
- Adds 0.5 second fixed casting time.
- Adds 1 second variable casting time.
- Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 30 seconds cooldown.

5.4 Imposito Manus
- Changes skill mechanism, increases Atk and Matk to the user and nearby party members.
- Adds 0.5 second fixed casting time.
- Adds 1 second variable casting time.
- Reduces delay after skill from 3 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 30 seconds cooldown.

6. Hunter
6.1 Land Mine

- Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
- Adds 0.5 second variable casting time.

6.2 Claymore Trap
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
- Adds 0.5 second variable casting time.

6.3 Blast Mine
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
- Adds 0.5 second variable casting time.

6.4 Blitz Beat
- Changes damage formula factor to depends on Agi and Dex.
- Auto Blitz Beat no longer split damage among multiple targets.

7. Crusader
7.1 Grand Cross

- Reduces fixed casting time from 1.5 second to 0.5 second.
- Reduces variable casting time from 1.5 second to 1 second.
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 second to 0.5 second.
- Adds 1 seconds cooldown.
- Self damage is removed (HP cost on casting still remains).

7.2 Shield Boomerang
- Changes damage formula.

7.3 Spear Quicken
- Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by 10%).

8. Alchemist
8.1 Demonstration

- Increases the chance to destroy target's weapon.
- Changes damage type from special melee physical damage to normal melee physical damage.
- Changes damage formula.
- Deals additional damage depends on skill level of Potion Research.

8.2 Acid Terror
- Increases the chance to destroy target's armor.
- Changes damage type from special long ranged physical damage to normal long ranged physical damage.
- Changes damage formula.
- Deals additional damage depends on skill level of Potion Research.

9. Rogue
9.1 Sightless Mind

- Reduces SP consumption to 15.
- Increases damage.
- When Sightless Mind hit target. Target will take 30% additional damage for 10 second (15% on boss monsters).

9.2 Back Stab
- Changes skill mechanism, moves to target's back immediately and deals damage. Can't be used while under Hiding state.
- If user equips dagger, increases hit to twice.
- Increases skill accuracy depends on skill level.
- Adds 0.5 seconds cooldown.

9.3 Intimidate
- Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack) per skill level.

10. Sage
10.1 Deluge/ Whirlwind/ Volcano
- Changes catalyst from Yellow Gemstone to Blue Gemstone.
- Volcano also increases Matk too.

10.2 Endow Tsunami/ Endow Tornado/ Endow Quake/ Endow Blaze
- Reduces fixed casting time from 3 seconds to 1 second.
- Adds 1 second variable casting time.
- Changes catalyst to Indigo Point/ Yellow Wish Point/ Lime Green Point/ Scarlet Point.
- Also increases correspond element magical damage.
- Remove skill failure.
- Changes duration of level 1-4.

10.3 Hindsight
- Level of triggered spell is the half of Hindsight level and no longer random skill level on triggered (But if triggered spell has lower level than the half of Hindsight level. Actual skill level will be triggered instead).
- Changes the trigger chance.
- Type of added magic depends on Hindsight level is changed as below.
level 1-3 : Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt.
level 4-6 : Soul Strike/ Fire Ball.
level 7-9 : Earth Spike/ Frost Diver.
level 10 : Thunderstorm/ Heaven's Drive.

11. Monk
11.1 Raging Trifecta Blow
- Trigger chance is 30% on all skill level.

11.2 Raging Quadruble Blow
- If user equips knuckle, increases damage and reduces SP consumption.

11.3 Guillotine Fist
- When uses in combo, the skill can be used when there is 1 spirit sphere or more remains.
- Increases damage by 100% when there are 6 spirit sphere or more remains.

11.4 Root
- Effect duration is changed to 10 seconds.
- Can be used on boss monster but the duration is reduced to 2 seconds.

11.5 Occult Impaction
- Slightly increases damage.
- Deals additional damage when used on target that user caught with Root.

11.6 Throw Spirit Sphere
- Consumes 1 spirit sphere regardless skill level.
- Slightly increases damage.
- Deals additional damage when used on target that user caught with Root.

11.7 Spiritual Sphere Absorption
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.5 second.
- Removes variable casting time.

12. Bard & Dancer
12.1 Melody Strike/ Slinging Arrow
- Reduces variable casting time from 1.5 second to 0.5 second.
- Adds 0.3 seconds delay after skill.
- Increases damage.

12.2 Music Lessons
- Increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack) and increases %MaxSP.

12.3 Dance Lessons
- Increases Cri and increases %MaxSP.

12.4 Unbarring Octave/ Dazzler
- Adds 4 seconds cooldown.
- Reduces delay after skill from 4 second to 0.3 second.

12.5 Amp
- Changes skill mechanism, reduces SP consumption of song skills.
- Adds 0.3 seconds delay after skill.
- Adds 300 seconds cooldown.

12.6 Encore
- Adds 0.3 seconds delay after skill.
- Adds 60 seconds cooldown.

12.7 Unchained Serenade
- Deals neutral property magical damage to enemies within 9x9 cells around the user.
- Increases damage depends on user's base level.
- Can be used in PVP environment maps only.

12.8 Magic Strings
- Changes skill mechanism, reduces variable casting time and delay after skill of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.9 Impressive Riff
- Changes skill mechanism, increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack) of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.10 Song of Lutie
- Changes skill mechanism, increases %MaxHP and HP recovery of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.11 Perfect Tablature
- Changes skill mechanism, increases Flee and Perfect Dodge of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.12 Hip Shaker
- Has a chance to reduces SP of the enemies within 9x9 cells around the user.
- Can be used in PVP environment maps only.

12.13 Slow Grace
- Reduces attack speed and movement speed of enemies within 9x9 cells around the user.
- The potency of skill depends on user's Agi and Dex.
- Can be used in PVP environment maps only.

12.14 Gypsy's Kiss
- Changes skill mechanism, increases %MaxSP and reduces SP consumption of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.15 Lady Luck
- Changes skill mechanism, increases Cri and %critical damage of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.16 Focus Ballet
- Changes skill mechanism, increases Hit of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.17 Mental Sensing
- Changes skill mechanism, increases experience gained from killing monsters of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

12.18 Harmonic Lick
- Changes skill mechanism, grants random following buff to the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

- Changes skill mechanism, grants the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user no longer consume gemstone.

12.21 Down Tempo
- Changes skill mechanism, reduces defense of enemies within 9x9 cells around the user to 0.
- Can be used in PVP environment maps only.

12.22 Classical Pluck
- Changes skill mechanism, curses all player (except users) within 9x9 cells around the user to unable to use skill.
- Can be used in PVP environment maps only.

12.23 Lullaby
- Changes skill mechanism, inflicts sleep to enemies within 9x9 cells around the user.

12.23 Battle Theme
- Changes skill mechanism, increases Atk and Def of the user and nearby party members within 31x31 cells around the user.

Transcendent classes


1. Lord Knight
1.1 Clashing Spiral
- Reduces fixed casting time from 0.5 second to 0.3 second (on level 5).
- Reduces variable casting time from 0.5 seconds to 0.25 seconds (on level 5).
- Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 1 second (on level 5).
- Damage compensation depends on target's size is increased.
- Changes damage formula, damage increases from 350% to 400% on level 5.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.

1.2 Aura Blade
- Increases bonus flat damage depends on user's base level.

1.3 Spear Dynamo
- Skill effect still maintains  when user's equipment is removed or replaced.
- Reduces bonus Atk from 25% to 15% on level 5.
- Reduces armor reduction from 25% to 15% on level 5.
- Increases duration from 45 seconds to 60 seconds on level 5.

2. Mastersmith
2.1 Maximum Power Thrust
- Weapon destruction chance is removed.


3. Assassin Cross

- Removes 0.5 second delay after skill.
- Adds 0.5 second cooldown.
- Changes damage formula, damage is increased depends on user's Str and base level.

3.2 Enchant Deadly Poison
- Remove 50% damage penalty on Cross Impact, Counter Slash, Soul Destroyer and Sonic Blow.
- Reduces bonus damage from 400% to 300%.
- Removes 2 seconds delay after skill.
- Adds 2 seconds cooldown.
- Increases duration from 60 seconds to 120 seconds on level 5.

4. High Wizard
4.1 Gravitational Field
- Reduces fixed casting time from 5 second to 1 second.
- Adds 5 seconds variable casting time.
- Reduces delay after skill from 9 seconds to 1 second.

- Changes SP consumption on level 1-4.
- Changes damage type from fixed damage to neutral property magical damage.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.

4.2 Napalm Vulcan
- Changes damage formula.

- No longer split damage among multiple targets.
- Reduces delay after skill from 1 second to 0.5 second.
- Adds 1 second cooldown.


5. High Priest
5.1 Basilica

- Reduces fixed casting time from 9 second to 1 second (on level 5).
- Adds 3 seconds variable casting time.
- Reduces delay after skill from 6 seconds to 1 second (on level 5).
- Adds 30 seconds cooldown.
- Reduces SP consumption from 120 to 80 (on level 5).
- Changes skill mechanism, increases holy property magical damage and increases physical damage against shadow and undead property monsters of the user for the duration.

5.2 Assumptio
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 second to 0.5 second (on level 5).
- Changes skill mechanism, increases target's HardDef and incoming heal effectiveness for the duration.
- The skill can be used with Kyrie Eleison.


6. Sniper
6.1 Focused Arrow Strike
- Reduces delay after skill from 2.5 second to 0.5 second.
- Reduces fixed casting time and variable casting time from 1 second to 0.5 second.
- Increases critical chance.
- Changes damage formula.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.

6.2 Falcon Assault
- Changes damage formula.


7. Paladin
7.1 Rapid Smiting

- Increases range from 4 to 11 (on level 5).
- Changes damage formula.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.
 
7.2 Gloria Domini
- Removes SP reduction on target.
- Changes damage type from fixed damage to holy property magical damage.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.
- Reduces variable casting time from 1.6 second to 1 second.
- Reduces delay after skill from 4 second to 1 second.

10.1 Arrow Vulcan
- Reduces fixed casting time from 0.76 seconds to 0.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 3.04 seconds to 1.5 second (on level 10).
- Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 0.5 second.
- Adds 1.5 seconds cooldown.
- Changes damage formula.
- Deals additional damage depends on user's base level.
- Removes attack motion.

10.2 Longing for Freedom
- Changes skill mechanism, immediately removes penalty of ensemble skills.

I'm pretty shure spear dynamo already gives 25% bonus damage on Lvl 5 on iRO and bRO, is that a kRO specific change?

Note

The same kind of song doesn't stack. (bard song, dancer song, ensemble song)

New song buff will replaces the old song buff.

So player can have magic string buff, gypsy's kiss buff and mental sensing buff simultaneously.

But can't have magic string buff and impressive riff buff simultaneously.

 

For ensemble skill. Performers will receive penalty (unable to use skill, reduce movement speed and attack speed) for 30 seconds.

Using longing for freedom will remove this penalty.

Additional info.

Adjusts size penalty of knuckle
Currently : small 100% / medium 75% / large 50%
New : small 100% / medium 100% / large 75%

 

Guillotine Fist
- Reduces SP recovery penalty duration from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.

Doesn't EDP multiplies your weapon attack by 5 and extra attack by 4?

No.

Actually current EDP mechanic is

- multiplies WeaponAtk by 1.25

- then multiplies WeaponAtk and EquipAtk by 4

So it'll look like WeaponAtk is multiplied by 5 total . but actually it isn't.

 

So. The new EDP will be

- multiplies WeaponAtk by 1.25

- then multiplies WeaponAtk and EquipAtk by 3

WeaponAtk will be multiplied by 3.75 instead.

Pretty sure Gravity completely forgot this skill.

This skill doesn't change at all. So there's no cri bonus but it still give you 30% aspd while other aspd buff skills have been nerfed to 10%.
